I don't see her piece as a "thesis"... or a "theory". It is what you see when you open your eyes. The group of people hurt by this administration actually includes some privileged white people, who may, if the are mindful, get a better understanding of those with no, or little, privilege.

People are losing homes, their jobs, their mobility, their loved ones... "rolling up your sleeves" is what you do when you want to clean out the garage. Our problem is government, and unfortunately the government is the only entity which can help us.

I have hope for the future, which was given to me on November 6. America has been wounded gravely from within, and by the Republicans. Could the Democrats do more? No, with McConnell in control of the Senate. The two parties are polar opposites.
