Sorry, I am not there yet. Of course much of comedy is "punching down" at marginalized groups too small to fight back effectively. This is what Chappelle does. Whether there is a wisp of truth in what he says does not impress me at all. Is he funny? Sure, listen to the audience! But if you were a stealth trans person at the performance how would you feel?
