Thank you thank you so much Maya! I’m in the most privileged group of all, old white sis man, and I can tell you the “us versus them” problem is all over. It is important to be an ally even when none of your LGBT friends are around, and it is more than even money that there will be none around, making it even more important. Hearing this stuff from someone who is a cis person can make a difference to another cis person. In a very small way this is like coming out, and can show you who your real friends are.
