I have been enjoying making poor videos about bonsai for Youtube. My channel can be found by searching Bonsai Anonymous. This has given me a chance to learn about vlogging technology. As is my usual, I always try to find the cheapest solution, because I know I cannot afford the best, or close to the best, solution.

One problem I have is the frustration that comes with the cheapest solution, still not very cheap! Often instructions are wrong or misleading, there is no customer support for Chinese knockoffs, and my own understanding of computers is draining away with the rest of my memory. With my infirmities I am amazed anything gets done. My wife gave me an unrequested Klonopin the other day. Klonopin is an antianxiety drug like Valium, and my prescription says 1–2/day as needed. It used to be unneeded 99 percent of the time. I believe Klonopin will take its place with my morning meds, with an optional one later in the day “if needed.”

One of our pet ducks, Duckie, lives and sleeps in my bedroom, often sleeping on the bed. I have had to make allowances for her being there, with the allowances being the old towels and T shirts I put on the bed in case she poops, which she will. The floor is a constant project as well. She is crippled and does not get to go outside with the other ducks: too many predators looking for an easy meal.

This is preface to the fact no one else likes Duckie… too smelly! She used to live in the room where our other ducks…
