When I retired in 2017 (from college teaching) I cleaned out my filing cabinets. Way in the back (probably filed under BS) were all the reports and findings I did as part of committee work. None of them were followed, not sure if they were read.

As is the case so often today, for change to be pursued it must be supported by those who would lose power if changes were made. I am not holding my breath.
